I only found this on the heels of your more recent A/O story and I'm very impressed. You got the characters so that it took me a while to catch the AUness of it. And it satisfies the cynic's (who? where? Me? I' sitting here listening to Iggy Pop, are you kidding me?) dashed hopes for a happy ending, which makes it all the sweeter.
